Jason formed Resonance with composer, guitarist and cellist, Ken Jacobsen in 2008.  They performed primarily original music which they described as "new world music."

Joining Jason and Ken were Bill Moyer on percussion; Chip Lamason on mandolin; Carolyn Candy on flute; and Fletcher Andrews on drum kit.

The group produced a demo CD in 2009.
